ISSCO Sorts & Repacks 13,000 Pounds of Food at Harvesters
A company that volunteers together, stays together!
A group of nearly 15 employees at ISSCO volunteered their time on Saturday, March 3rd, to give back to those in need at the headquarters of Harvesters, a Kansas City based food bank that serves a 26-county area. The ISSCO team wanted to model the company's leadership initiatives... to give back. After hours of manual labor, 13,000 pounds of food was sorted and repacked! In addition, the ISSCO crew dropped off 105 pounds of food and toiletries.
“It is very important for me to personally give back, and also for the organization that my family has given decades and decades of our life to, gives back,” said Jake Davis.
