ISSCO, Inc. employees partnered with Phoenix Family, a Kansas City nonprofit who has a mission to empower people living in low-income housing communities with the on-site support they need to gain stability and achieve self-sufficiency. ISSCO's employees were committed to adopting two senior citizens during the holiday season, and successfully filfilled the goal!
The Senior Empowerment program that Phoenix Family established improves and maintains the status of older adults in terms of their personal economic development, health, and community engagement, leading them to a higher quality of life and allowing them to age in place with dignity and choice.
