Welcome to this issue of ISSCO's [Distribution Chat]. ISSCO has been busy in Q1, and continues to maintain a 98% fill rate. Our #1 focus remains on customer service and continual improvement. Our company has several things happening this summer, including a volunteering visit to Kansas City's Harvesters in July and a company-wide blood drive in June. Another generation of ISSCO employees took part in the National Bring Your Child to Work Day on Thursday, April 26, 2018. Sales team member, David Rogers, brought his daughter to ISSCO, allowing her to shadow the various departments and learn more about the fastener distribution world. It's a great way to spend a Thursday and to gain knowledge on what it takes to work hard!

Today isn't just like any other day... it's a day to honor and thank our professional administrators for all they do day in and day out for the team at ISSCO. Thank you, Peggy and Jeanie! 

ISSCO is committed to providing a variety of specialty fasteners at a competitive price. However, if one of our standard SKUs does not meet your needs, we are experienced and able to work with you on your special requests. We obtain quotes for domestic pricing in 24-48 hours and within 3-5 days for international quotes. Our per print specials are for specialty fasteners in the material and sizing of your choosing.

A company that volunteers together, stays together!

A group of nearly 15 employees at ISSCO volunteered their time on Saturday, March 3rd, to give back to those in need at the headquarters of Harvesters, a Kansas City based food bank that serves a 26-county area. The ISSCO team wanted to model the company's leadership initiatives... to give back. After hours of manual labor, 13,000 pounds of food was sorted and repacked! In addition, the ISSCO crew dropped off 105 pounds of food and toiletries. 

In 2013, ISSCO purchased BTM Manufacturing as the custom manufacturing arm of ISSCO. Having a niche manufacturing business such as BTM Manufacturing allows ISSCO to further its daily goal to be your full-service distributor. We work closely with BTM Manufacturing to manufacture bolts, rods and studs to your specified standard. If you’re in need of special parts, our relationship with BTM Manufacturing allows customers to purchase and ship both custom and standard parts on one purchase order, reducing customer costs. This partnership includes the manufacturing of non-ferrous products for those that need a superior corrosion-resistant product. We also have a wide-range of production equipment making our manufacturing proficiency the best in our industry.

Each month the ISSCO team selects an organization to donate the collection of funds from employee Jeans Day. In honor of American Heart Month, ISSCO selected the American Heart Association as a recipient of the donations collected by the ISSCO employees. In addition, ISSCO matched the collections! As a family-owned and operated company, ISSCO understands the importance of giving back, and does so each month. We are very proud of our team!
